Results arrive late, on paper, or not at all.
Assignments usually live in a separate spreadsheet that drifts from the fixture list as soon as a match moves.
After the whistle, the score travels by text message to someone who types it into the table, often days later. Goals and cards rarely get recorded at all.

What happens if a report never arrives?
The fixture stays awaiting its result. It remains visible but provisional, and it does not count towards the table until it is completed.
