Know who can play before the group chat does.
Player availability software asks each player whether they can play a specific fixture and shows the answers to the captain. In LeagueUnion players respond match by match, are notified when a response is needed, and captains see the next fixtures with every answer in the Captain Centre.

“Who’s in for Saturday?” is not a system.
Availability usually means one message to the whole squad, a scattering of thumbs-up and a captain counting replies late on Friday.
Silence is the real problem. The captain cannot tell a player who is out from a player who has not seen the message.
How it works in LeagueUnion
The fixture is published
Each upcoming fixture becomes something players can answer for.
Players are asked
Squad players are notified and respond available or unavailable for that match.
The captain reviews
The Captain Centre shows the team’s next three fixtures: who is in, who is out and who has not answered.
Match day
Responses sit beside the referee’s roll call in the match centre.

Questions organisers ask
How does player availability work in LeagueUnion?
Players respond for each upcoming fixture. Captains see the responses, including who has not answered yet, in the Captain Centre.
Does availability replace the squad list?
No. The squad is the team’s registered players. Availability records which of those players can take part in a particular match.
Are players reminded to respond?
Players receive notifications about fixtures that need a response.
